Tom Bombadil and Goldberry

These are the images I created for my Schoolism course on designing characters for games!
I did a straight forward costume design for Tom Bombadil and Goldberry from LotR, and I also did a design of a theoretical cryptid form for both of them since they are both immortal spirits who are described as being as old as middle earth itself. Since Tom is described by Tolkien as being the embodiment of the English countryside, I modeled him after the English treeman or apple man myth, and Goldberry daughter of the river is modeled after Jenny Greenteeth.
